The CIM Education Department co-ordinates and examines thousands of students each year through the three levels of marketing qualifications. In an attempt to assist the students of West Surrey, the branch has a Student Member Liaison Officer (SMLO) who looks after student issues and oversees the various colleges in the area, providing help where applicable. The SMLO for West Surrey is Gary Anderton. Click here to e-mail Gary
This is a list of the local colleges who run the CIM exams. Your college is likely to run a form of extranet to which you should also be entitled access - please contact your course tutor for details. If we have missed anyone out, please let us know.
For online tutorials another useful resource is i-Coach® Click here to go to their website.
I-Coach® delivers world-class content to managers and business students who need to understand complex business theory quickly and effectively.
The learning is delivered using Imparta's engaging animated tutorials. The tutorials combine genuine business insight with clear concise explanations that make even the most complex ideas accessible. You can develop your understanding of a whole subject area by exploring a carefully structured theory syllabus, or just dip in to discover or refresh your understanding of a particular concept, tool, or idea. It is an ideal online reinforcement tool to help in your day-to-day business activities or studies. I-Coach® can also be used as pre-work for workshops and courses.
The tutorials include embedded detail pages and mini case studies that build on the content of each animation. Interactive exercises reinforce your learning, and allow you to test your understanding of the subject matter. The strategy tutorials have been developed in collaboration with experts from London Business School and INSEAD backed by a consortium of FTSE companies.
Neil Rackham, author of "Spin® Selling" and internationally recognised authority on the sales process and sales force issues, has worked closely with Imparta to develop the sales tutorials. The marketing tutorials are designed for marketing practitioners and other managers who need to ensure marketing decisions and activities have a positive impact on the organisation's objectives and bottom line.
